I didn't realize it was a black-tie event until the day of. However, when you go into Mr. Tux wearing an Armani suit and say, "This isn't formal enough, please give me something that is" you get awesome service.

When I asked for a purple bow-tie they brought out a smooth lavender monstrosity and a deep-purple crushed velvet matching bow-tie and vest. I choose the velvet, and the salesman said, "We've never rented that before."

Jared and Brian out-traditionaled traditional. Having been to their wedding, I don't feel like I need to go to another traditional wedding because I've been to the best.
